Jungeulgi is a Korean comic artist who uses character-driven stories and messy art styles to go through between long and short comics. Her work is built around duality. She sets her stories in worlds filled with violence and unease, and also draws the calm and affection that become clearer inside them. Her characters carry opposite urges at once, like good and bad, protection and destruction, and they waver. She focuses on moments when love turns into obsession, care becomes control, and peace flips into threat. She stages scenes where harsh events and quiet daily life share the same frame. following bonds where people hold on to each other and hurt each other. She does not make these contradictions look pretty; sometimes she makes them uncomfortable, sometimes quiet, but she keeps the feelings as they are.
