The four gods Baek Ho, JuJak, CheongNyong, and HyeonMu are cast down from heaven for their crimes and sent to a small rural village in Korea by an enraged Kirin. There, they are forced to live with an old man trusted by the Kirin and a high school girl named Soran, who is cherished by them. Stripped of their powers, the four gods spend their days living as ordinary humans in a countryside home, until one day the old man is found murdered. The main suspects are the four gods. Soran must uncover the truth.

Hoi, the village’s guardian dokkaebi, spends another lazy day wandering through the village, only to find herself heading toward the house of Geureume, a woman recently widowed. Meanwhile, the number of deaths in the village continues to rise, and aside from the fact that the victims were poisoned, there are no clues. As Hoi grows shaken by the mounting victims, Geureume appears before her. But something about her is different from the Geureume Hoi once knew.

Mi hwanyeong, a fan of the Dead Judgmental Han Ijak, one day comes face to face with Han Ijak in person. Just as she is about to ask for an autograph, debris from a building falls onto Han Ijak’s head, killing her instantly. Meanwhile, Han Baerang, Han Ijak’s daughter and a detective, knows of her mother’s death from her younger sibling. While following the clues, Han Baerang tracks down Mi hwanyeong, who was with Han Ijak at the time, and meets her in person, only to feel that there is something strangely familiar about her.
